Supernatural things don't exist or do they? Of course they don't but that is due to S.W.O.R.D (Supernatural World Observation and Response Department). They are the best kept government secret. They are deployed by the United States government to tackle terrorists or Supernatural things that ordinary humans can't handle.
Made of twenty-one members, the members are collected from all over the world. Like other organizations, they come from different backgrounds. Their powers are nothing alike and often compliment each other. Due to the fact they must be on call 24/7, they live in an underground base that serves as their headquarters and their home. They take a vow to save the people of the United States or even the world.
In the year 2003, a band of terrorists appear but they aren't simply terrorists. They call themselves the Diabolus. They are a led by a figure no one has ever seen nor heard of. They're planning an attack on the World, taking a city each time. They already taken the city of San Francisco and Seattle and they're slowly making their way to Washington, DC. They killed humans easily and their superhero counterparts. They were a team of evil. After S.W.O.R.D defeated them in Phoenix, the Diabolus disbanded. S.W.O.R.D suffered ten casualties after that battle that lasted for three days. The United States noted January 21st, 2003: Diablo Day.
Now in Washington DC, in the year 2008, peace some what reigned over the world but rumors started to spread a weeks ago. The leader of the Diabolus was still alive and they're coming back with a bang.

Like games and real life, there are rules and like rules ,they have to be followed (or broken, whatever floats!). Here's a basic gist of rules:
There is absolutely no god modding/god mode/insta-killing. No controlling of other characters without the person's consent, basically keep your hands to yourself...and where people can see them.
Theres a line between OOC and IC! Don't cross it. Just because a character is a bitch or a douche doesn't mean the player is. If there is any drama, please contact the mods and we'll try to take care of it.
Activity Activity Activity. That's the main key for a game. If no one is active, the game dies. Update every two to three weeks. If you need to go on hiatus, let us know.
Journals must relate to the character's name. No x's or underscores or anything ridiculous. You don't need an AIM screen name for this game but if you had one just for OOC matters, that's completely fine.
A player can have up to three characters during play. If you would like to have more than three, please talk to a mod.
Original PBs and musicians are not allowed unless they have some kind of acting resume. So anyone with a camera cannot be used as a PB. Professional models are exempted from this rule.
Since the game can have adult themes, gore, and whatnot, we would assume players will be mature and not go "OH MY GOOOOOOOODDDDD HE HAD SEXXXX WITTHHHH HERRRRRR!!!" We would probably just clear our throats and move on. Just please, don't act like a five year old and we'd be happy.
Even though this is a supernatural game, there are some "realism" attached to it. Pregnancy, killing, suicide, etc can happen. Just be realistic about it. If you have no clue, then ask one of the mods.

S.W.O.R.D HEADQUARTERS LOCATIONS
A computer by the name of JASPER handles the Headquarters. Think of the computer system in the Resident Evil movies. He is maintained by the government.
TRAINING ROOMS ( 5 ROOMS )
These five rooms are made of a special metal. They form whatever the user wants to create. If they want to relax in a far away island with beach and sand, the room instantly simulates it. Its THAT high tech. Its often used for battle simulations and personal training purposes. A member with level 4 and higher cannot use a room without a supervisor present (level 2 or higher). Even though its a simulation, punches and kicks will be felt but mentally, not physically.
KITCHEN
A large room filled with cooking utensils, huge ovens, freezer, ingredients, etc. A person can make whatever their heart desires. Anything from apple pie to large soufflés but cleaning up would be a pain in the ass.
DINING ROOM
Think of an old styled room with paintings on the walls and oak tables. There are three oak tables in this room with dark oak chairs for each member of SWORD (and the occasional government worker here and there). Utensils are always laid out in this room and always gone after dinner finishes, how? No one knows.
LOUNGE
Filled with couches, armchairs, and lazy boys. Many members would call this the 'fun room'. There's a billiard table and air hockey, huge plasma TV, surround sound speakers, a bar, and a whole library of DVDs. Members relax and have fun in this room, maybe too much fun to the point they'll never leave.
SUITES
The rooms if the underground HQ. These cover the lower levels of the place. Each suite is labeled from 1-200. There are over two hundred rooms even though not every single one are used. In each room, there is a large king sized bed, private bathroom with a small jacuzzi and a large wall to wall closet.
INFIRMARY
The infirmary looks like a floor of a high tech hospital. There are more than ten beds with curtains around each one. The doctor and head nurses' offices are in the back of the infirmary.
LIBRARY
Stacks and stacks of books are found here. If you want to read up on the Spanish requisition, go ahead. Everything is at your fingertips here. Or you can use the handy computer that flips out from behind the stacks and read from the big computer screen.
